Early Pregnancy Tests 4 U provide two types of dependable early-detection pregnancy tests: the pregnancy test strip and the midstream pregnancy test. We also provide Ovulation Tests allowing you to predict when you ovulate. These also come in both the above types. All tests comply both to British standards and American FDA standards.
Our tests are upto five times more sensitive than the cheaper versions sold by high street chemist chains and stores. Thus allowing you to find out if you are pregnant sooner with the pregnancy tests and to pinpoint your ideal time to conceive with the ovulation tests.
Our Pregnancy Test Strips are over 99% accurate, and are capable of detecting human chorionic gonadotropin, or hCG, at levels of just 10mIU/ml/hCG. That means you can begin testing accurately just 6 to 8 days after conceiving.
INTENDED USE:
FASTEST One Step HCG Urine Pregnancy Test measures the presence of the hormone Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin (HCG) in your urine for the early detection of pregnancy.
SUMMARY AND EXPLANATION:
HCG is produced by the placenta during pregnancy, shortly after the embryo attaches to the uterine lining. Usually HCG can be detected by a home pregnancy test 7-10 days after conception. The further in to the pregnancy you are the higher the levels of HCG in your urine. This pregnancy dip strip detects HCG in urine at a concentration of 10mIU/ml (MilliInternational Units) or greater. The concentration of HCG in non-pregnant women is normally 5.0mIU/ml. At the time of the last missed menstrual period, urine HCG levels are about 100mlU/ml with peak levels of 100,000 to 200,000mlU/ml seen at the end of the first trimester
CONTENTS:
Each pouch contains:
1. One Step HCG Urine Pregnancy Strip Test
2. Desiccant (Discard - Do not eat)
STORAGE AND STABILITY:
The test kit can be stored at room temperature (4 °C to 30 °C) in the sealed pouch to the date of expiration. The test kits should be kept away from direct sunlight, moisture and heat.
PRECAUTIONS:
TEST PROCEDURE:
1. WHEN CAN I CARRY OUT THE TEST?
You can take this pregnancy test from the first day after a missed period and onwards.
2. SPECIMEN COLLECTION AND HANDLING
A urine specimen must be collected in a clean and dry container. The first morning urine specimen is preferred since it generally contains the highest concentration of HCG; however, urine specimens collected at any time of the day may be used.3. TO CARRY OUT TEST

4. INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS
Negative: If one coloured line appears in the control region on the test strip and there is no line in the test region, then this indicates a negative result, no HCG has been detected in the urine. This means you are either not pregnant or you have tested too early. If you are not sure repeat the test in 48 hours.
Positive: If two coloured lines appear on the test strip, one in the test region and one in the control region, then this means there is a strong possibility that you are pregnant — HCG has been detected in your urine. One line may be lighter than the other, they do not have to match and this is still a positive result.
Invalid: If a red line appears in the test region but there is no visible line at all in the control region of the strip then the test is invalid. If no lines appear anywhere on the test strip then the test is also invalid and should be repeated using another test strip.5. QUALITY CONTROL
Built in Quality Control Features:
After addition of the urine sample, coloured bands migrate along the membrane at the leading edge of the dye conjugate and are “removed” from the test strip completely.
When the test is complete, you will see a pink-purple coloured band in the “C” area of the test strip on negative samples and a pink-purple coloured band in the “T” and “C” area on positive samples. The appearance of the CONTROL band indicates that the test strip is performing properly and serves as a procedural control.
PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS:
1. SENSITIVITY
One Step HCG Urine Pregnancy Test will display positive results with specimens containing HCG at the level close to or greater than 10mlU/ml.
2. ACCURACY
Comparison studies on the One Step HCG Urine Pregnancy Test with a legally marketed device were performed in-house and in a clinical reference laboratory. Positive and negative results were compared and the correlation was >99.5%.
PRINCIPLE:
The HCG assay is a rapid one-step test, based on an immunochromato graphic technology. A membrane with an absorbent pad overlapping a strip of fiber glass paper that is impregnated with a lyophilized colloidal conjugate of gold particles and monoclonal solid phase antibodies to HCG. Other absorbent pads at the end of the assay absorb excess sample fluid. The urine sample is introduced into the device, and proceeds through the absorbent pad, then laterally onto a chromatographic membrane. As it contacts the membrane, the sample dissolves the lyophilized conjugate. In a reactive sample, the HCG antigen will attach to the antibodies in the colloidal solution. As the conjugate moves forward on the membrane, anti-HCG monoclonal antibody affixed on the test zone (“T”) will bind the HCG-gold conjugate complex, forming a pink line (“T”).All samples will cause a pink colored line to appear in the control zone (“C”). This line is formed by the binding of the polyclonal antibodies (Anti-mouse IgG) affixed onto the control zone to the sample-colloidal gold conjugate. Presence of this line indicates that the test has been carried out correctly. In less than 5 minutes, levels of HCG as low as 25mlU/ml can be detected.
LIMITATION OF THE PROCEDURE:
1. Alcohol may interfere with the test result. It is not recommended to use the test after drinking alcohol.
2 .Occasionally urine specimens containing less than 10mlU/ml also yield positive results.
3.If you test too early HCG levels may still be low and so can give a negative result. In this case, another urine specimen should be obtained at least 48 hours later and tested.
4.HCG levels may remain detectable for several weeks after normal delivery, delivery by caesarean section, spontaneous abortion or therapeutic abortion
5.In cases where very high levels of HCG are present (>500,000mlU/ml) a false negative result can occur due to a “Prozone” effect. If pregnancy is still suspected, simply dilute specimen 1:1 with deionized water and retest.
6.If a urine sample is too dilute (ie: low specific gravity) it may not contain a representative level of HCG. If pregnancy is still suspected, a first morning urine sample should be obtained and retested 48 hours later.
Pregnancy Midstream Tests - 20 mIU/ml hCG, over 99% accurate, Begin testing as early as 7-10 days past ovulation, brand new, with the maximum 2-year expiration dates
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.Remove the midstream test from the foil pouch
2. Remove the Cap
3. Hold the midstream test by the Thumb Grip with the exposed Absorbent Tip pointing downward directly into your urine stream for at least 10 seconds until it is thoroughly wet.
4. Note: Do not urinate on the Test and Control windows. If you prefer, you can urinate into a clean and dry container, then dip only the Absorbent Tip of the midstream test into the urine for at least 10 seconds.
5. After removing the midstream test from your urine, immediately replace the Cap over the Absorbent Tip, lay the midstream test on a flat surface with the Test and Control windows facing upwards, and then begin timing.
6. As the test begins to work, you may notice a light red flow moving across the Test and Control windows. Wait at least 3 minutes for the red line(s) to appear. If no red line appears, wait one minute longer. Some positive results may be observed in 1 minute or less depending on the concentration of hCG.
Our Pregnancy Tests are sensitive to 20 mIU/ml hCG. With less sensitive brand name tests, you have to wait until after your missed period to begin testing.
How to Read the Results
![]() |
PREGNANT The presence of two red lines, one line in the test window (T) and one line in the control window (C), means you are probably pregnant. One line may be lighter than the other, they do not have to match. |
![]() |
NOT PREGNANT The presence of one red line in the control window (C) means you are probably not pregnant. |
![]() |
INVALID RESULT The result is invalid if no red line appears in the control window (C), even if a line appears in the test window (T). You should repeat the test with a new midstream test. |

Ovulation Test Strips - detect the LH-surge with a sensitivity of 20mIU/ml/lh at a level above 99% accuracy, brand new, 2-year expiration dates. The Egg must be fertilized within 24 hours after you ovulate, correctly predicting this is the key to increasing the chance of conception.
Tests are sold in multiples of 5. The amount of tests you need depend on your menstrual cycle; if you have a regular cycle, 5 predictors should be sufficient, if it is irregular we recommend you buying 10.
INSTRUCTIONS:
just dip the tip of the strip in a urine sample and in five minutes you have accurate results - and a reliable indication of ovulation and fertility.
WHEN TO START TESTING: Determine the length of the menstrual cycle. The length of the menstrual cycle is the number of days from the first day of menstrual bleeding to the day before bleeding begins on the next period.
Determine the usual length of the menstrual cycle over the last few months. Then, refer to the Ovulation Calendar Cycle Chart below to determine on which day of the menstrual cycle to begin testing. If your cycle is less than twenty-one days or greater than forty days, consult a physician.

1. To begin testing, open the sealed pouch by tearing along the notch. Remove the LH test from the pouch. Note: The ideal time to test is in the afternoon, not early morning, though testing may safely take please from 10am to early evening.
Dip end of strip into urine for 10 seconds. Do not exceed the max line.
2. Carefully place the LH test vertically into the urine cup for 10 seconds and lay the strip flat on a clean, dry, non-absorbent surface. IMPORTANT: Do not allow the urine level to exceed the line indicated by the arrows - MAX Line (Marker Line) - near the bottom of the test dipstick, otherwise the test will not perform correctly.
3. Wait for colored bands to appear. Depending on the concentration of LH in the test specimen, positive results may be observed in as little as 40 seconds. However, to confirm negative results, the complete reaction time of 10 minutes is required.
INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS
Within three to five minutes, two color bands will appear. Do not read the results after more than ten minutes.
To determine your result, compare the color intensity, i.e. shade of color, lightness or darkness of color, of the test band to the control band. In determining a positive or negative result, it is important to compare the color intensity, for this will indicate whether or not the LH surge (indicating ovulation) is in progress.

1. Positive for the LH Surge
If the test band is of equal or greater intensity (equal or darker) than the control band, this is a positive result and a good indication that the LH surge is occurring.
2. Negative for the LH Surge
If the test band is of lesser intensity (lighter) than the control band or cannot be seen, this means the LH level of the sample is at or near its basal (normal) level and that the LH surge is not in progress.
3. Invalid Result
If no control band appears within five minutes, the test result is invalid and should be ignored. The control band will not appear if an insufficient volume of specimen is added into the test kit. Proper procedures may not have been followed in performing the test. Repeat with a new test kit.
WHEN TO STOP TESTING
Unless otherwise specified by a doctor, stop testing once the LH surge is detected. Six to ten days of testing may be needed to detect the LH surge, though additional testing may be required. Explanations for negative results include:
1. Use of first morning urine. First morning urine should not be used for LH .
2. The concentration of LH is too low to be accurately detect.
3. Testing is performed too early or too late in the menstrual cycle (please re-read cycle chart).
4. Testing is stopped before the surge occurs, and should have been continued for a few more days.
THE LH SURGE, OVULATION & PREGNANCY
A pregnancy begins with conception. A child is conceived when the male sperm successfully fertilizes the female egg. Successful fertilization is most likely during a 24 hour period one to three days following the LH surge. Since this ovulation "window" only opens once per month, and for only about 24 hours, being able to predict fertility it is very helpful when trying to become pregnant. Therefore, you should have intercourse during the one to three day period following the LH surge to increase chances of conception.
LIMITATIONS OF THE TEST
1) Directions must be followed carefully for accurate results.
2) Do not open the foil pouch until ready to conduct the test.
3) Do not use the results of this test as an aid for contraception.
4) Consult a doctor if irregular or unusually long cycles are experienced.
5) Do not use the test kit after the expiration date listed on the box.
6) A test device can only be used once. Discard the test after use.
Ovulation Midstream Tests - sensitive to 25mIU/ml/lh, over 99% accurate in anticipating ovulation, offer maximum-allowable 2-year expiration dates.
DETERMINE WHEN TO START TESTING
To determine when to start testing, you must first determine the length of your menstrual cycle. The length of the menstrual cycle is the number of days from the first day of menstrual bleeding to the day before bleeding begins on the next period.
Determine the usual length of the menstrual cycle over the last few months. Then, refer to the Cycle Chart shown in previous section to determine on which day of the menstrual cycle to begin testing. If your cycle is less than twenty-one days or greater than forty days, consult a physician.
TEST PROCEDURE
Do not use first morning samples as LH is synthesized in your body early in the morning. It will not show up in urine until later in the day. The best time to test urine is between 11am and 8pm. Be sure to test at the same time each day. Also, reduce your liquid intake (and try not to urinate) around 2 to 3 hours before testing as a diluted liquid sample can hinder LH detection.
1. To begin testing, open the sealed pouch by tearing along the notch. Remove test kit from the pouch.
2. Hold the round end of cover with one hand. Use the other hand to pull out the test device and expose the absorbent tip.
3. Point the absorbent tip downward. Place the absorbent tip in urine stream for at least seven to ten (10) seconds to be thoroughly wet. NOTE: Do not allow urine to splash into the result window. To prevent urine from splashing the result window, during application, place your thumb over the interpretation window while holding the test in the urine stream.
4. Re-cap the device, lay flat on a table, and wait for color bands to appear. Depending on the concentration of LH, a positive result may be observed in as few as 40 seconds; however, to confirm negative results, the complete reaction time (10 minutes) is required. It is important the background of the result window is clear before the result is read.
INTERPRETATION OF RESULTS
Lh Mid-Stream Test
Negative - No LH Surge: Only one color band appears on the control (C) region or the test (T) band is much lighter than the control band. There is no LH surge.
Postive - LH Surge: If two color bands are visible and the test (T) band is equal to or darker than the control (C) band, ovulate will probably take place within the next 24-48 hours.
Invalid: No visible band at all. The control band will not appear if an insufficient volume of specimen is added into the test kit. Proper procedures may not have been followed in performing the test. Repeat with a new test kit. Please consult above instructions and follow precisely. * The most common reason for an invalid test result with a midstream test is that urine has splashed into the interpretation window. This prevents liquid from properly “wicking” up the test and through the band of dye. Please note that invalid results can nearly always be avoided by placing your thumb over the interpretation window while holding the test in the urine stream.
